We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully furnished cottage. Despite its small size, it had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the cottage was impeccably clean and maintained its modern charm while still having character. It was conveniently located within walking distance to a vibrant area with plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes. This made it a great base for exploring the area. the private parking space across from the cottage was a bonus, and the quiet road added to the peaceful atmosphere. the cottage had a lovely outdoor seating area, perfect for enjoying the good weather. Julie, the host, was extremely helpful, allowing us to check-in early, and the kitchen was fully equipped, including a wok. We would definitely return to this cottage if we find ourselves in the area again. Cons: Nothing, all was good! 👍.

It had marvellous and lovely location, within 20 minutes walk from Rhymer's Stone.

I keep coming back to this cozy place. The staff is so helpful, they even printed something for me once. Free parking, flat-screen TV, golf nearby, and an outdoor dining area - it has everything I need. Can't wait to return for my next holiday.

Wow, what a fantastic way to end our 3-month holiday in Scotland! The cottage was amazing and felt like a home away from home. We loved the fact that it had a car parking space, which is rare in such a small street. The small outdoor seating area was a nice touch. The cottage was nicely furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, modern, and still maintained its character. The location was great, within walking distance to Melrose with its restaurants, bars, and cafes. It was also a good base for exploring the area, such as visiting Kielder Observatory, which was only a little over an hour's drive away. We would definitely return to this cottage if we're in the area again in the future.

What a disappointment this place was. We booked it for a Christmas getaway, hoping for a cozy and festive experience. Well, the only positive thing I can say is that the cottage was nicely decorated. But that's about it. the so-called "fully equipped kitchen" lacked running hot water, which made cooking a real challenge. And don't get me started on the tiny shower that was small and dark. Plus, the hot water flow was painfully slow. We ended up boiling water just to wash the dishes! the description didn't mention these issues, and it really put a damper on our holiday spirit.

To make matters worse, the owners only gave us a vague excuse about a new system when we brought up the hot water issue. It's clear they didn't care enough to ensure everything was in proper working order.

Although everything was fantastic, I did notice that the water pressure from the hot taps was a bit low. it didn't greatly affect my overall experience.
